Backstreet Boys Welcome Snoop Dogg to Las Vegas Sphere Residency

The Backstreet Boys are hoping to welcome Snoop Dogg as a VIP guest during their ongoing Las Vegas residency.

Following a chance encounter at the Los Angeles premiere of Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie, the iconic boy band is looking forward to potentially hosting the legendary rapper at the Sphere, where they are performing their acclaimed Into the Millennium residency.

During a recent interview clip highlighted by Entertainment Tonight on Instagram, Nick Carter shared that he personally invited Snoop to experience their breathtaking, immersive show.

“I asked him, ‘Whenever you have a moment, would you like to come check out our show at the Sphere?’” Carter remembered. “And he replied, ‘Man, I live right here in Vegas.’ I was honestly surprised—I completely forgot!”

Snoop was seemingly more than game for the invitation. According to Carter, the rap icon told him, “You can just swing by,” leaving the door wide open for an off-stage reunion in Sin City.

Their recent interaction came naturally, as both acts are connected to the animated feature Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie. While Snoop lends his voice to the character Dave, the Backstreet Boys contributed an exclusive track titled “Bottle Up” to the official soundtrack.

Kicked off in July 2025, the Backstreet Boys’ Into the Millennium residency at the Sphere has rapidly evolved into one of the Strip’s most successful ticket sales. Having already sold out over 35 performances for a crowd of 575,000 enthusiastic fans, the summer series extends through August 29, with fresh dates already locked in for New Year’s Eve and early 2027.

Naturally, the prospect of Snoop visiting the Sphere wasn’t the only viral highlight from the red carpet. AJ McLean pointed out that the gathering offered fans another rare glimpse of Kevin Richardson and Snoop standing side-by-side—two famous faces frequently compared across the internet for their striking physical resemblance.

“That’s actually a misconception; I met him backstage at an award ceremony years ago,” Richardson clarified after McLean joked that it had been over three decades since their last public crossover. McLean quickly added that the world simply hadn’t witnessed the two cultural forces together quite like this before.

Does Richardson understand why fans continually refer to him and the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” hitmaker as doppelgängers?

“I totally see where they’re coming from,” Richardson admitted with a smile. “Especially when you look at profile shots and angles like that. I get it completely. I’ve got a lot of love for Snoop.”

Meanwhile, Brian Littrell recalled a hilarious conversation he shared with Snoop concerning Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie. The rapper jokingly complained that despite being part of the cast, he was oddly left out of the canine club.

“Man… I really wanted to voice a dog. I couldn’t even be a dog in this film,” Littrell recalled Snoop telling him. “Out of everyone in the cast, I’m the one person who actually wanted to play a hound.”

Littrell confessed he found the rapper’s comedic grievances hilarious, telling him, “Honestly, that is pretty brilliant.”

As for whether Snoop Dogg will eventually make a surprise appearance at the Sphere, nothing has been set in stone yet. However, with the rapper already calling Vegas home and Carter extending a warm invitation, a future collaboration feels entirely possible.
