The latest cinematic rendition of the classic novel Wuthering Heights has officially eclipsed the $200 million milestone at the global box office, according to recent data from Box Office Mojo.

The film garnered $74.4 million domestically in the United States, while international markets contributed an additional $125.6 million. In Russia, the movie’s theatrical run generated 468.9 million rubles.

Starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, the film explores the turbulent and ill-fated romance between Catherine and Heathcliff set against the backdrop of 19th-century provincial England. The project was helmed by director Emerald Fennell, following her acclaimed work on Saltburn.

Produced on an $80 million budget (excluding promotional expenses), the adaptation received a polarized reception from critics, currently holding a 58% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film is scheduled for its digital premiere on March 31.
