Robert Pattinson Could Be the Next James Bond
Robert Pattinson, star of “Twilight” and “The Batman,” is among the actors being considered to play the next James Bond, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Pattinson auditioned in late October. He has previously worked with Denis Villeneuve, the director of the next Bond film, on “Dune 3,” in which Pattinson plays the villain Scytale.
Nicholas Hoult (“Superman”) has emerged as another “secret” contender. Jack Lowden, Callum Turner and Josh O’Connor also remain among the finalists. It is unclear when the new 007 will be announced. Amazon MGM Studios and screenwriter Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders”) are working on the 26th Bond film.
This year, Pattinson appeared in “The Odyssey,” “Primetime” and “The Drama.” He is currently filming the sequel to “The Batman.”
