Words and Wounds

Happy Friday, everyone!

As we prepare for our upcoming update, our development team has taken a deliberate step back to methodically examine and polish inZOI’s core mechanics. Diving deep into this structural evaluation has given us valuable clarity on where our execution fell short and where we need to reinforce our development standards.

In our push to consistently deliver new content, several foundational systems that previously operated smoothly began to deteriorate or conflict across successive patches. For instance, Zois have occasionally abandoned their regular circadian rhythms, looped through irrelevant tasks instead of addressing pressing needs, or engaged in erratic social behaviors within their households. While each glitch may seem minor in isolation, their combined effect significantly compromises the overall simulation experience.

Because autonomous behavior represents the cornerstone of inZOI’s immersion, superficial hotfixes are no longer adequate. We have committed to a comprehensive, ground-up architectural overhaul of the entire autonomy engine.

As a result, players will notice fewer brand-new additions in this release. Attempting to introduce extensive new functionality while simultaneously executing a complex systemic rework is neither practical nor sustainable. Instead, our priority is resolving high-impact feedback items from your reports while engineering a far more stable, predictable, and lifelike AI architecture. Though the surface changelog may appear leaner, this vital groundwork ensures long-term performance and reliability.

Our foremost priority is placing an optimized, thoroughly debugged build into your hands as swiftly as possible. We deeply appreciate your patience as we eliminate existing friction points to deliver Zois that behave with greater intelligence, consistency, and realism.

Exciting News: inZOI is Heading to TapTap 2026

We are delighted to announce that inZOI has been officially invited to the 2026 TapTap offline showcase in Shanghai. Taking place from September 12 to 13 at Hall A of the West Bund Art Center, this event will feature interactive demo kiosks, developer exhibitions, and creator meetups. It offers an incredible opportunity to connect directly with our players in China and showcase inZOI on the global stage.

We will share additional details regarding our schedule and event activations next week. As always, thank you for your ongoing passion and dedication to shaping inZOI alongside us.

Have a wonderful weekend ahead!
