With the release of Counter-Strike 2, the gaming community has been gripped by new features and improved graphics. Developer bir3yk, who is working on the RevEmu emulator for Counter-Strike 2, has revealed details about the Non-Steam version of the game.
Details about CS 2 Non-Steam
- Skins and Multiplayer: The most important thing is that skins already work! Multiplayer is also functional between non-steam clients, and work is underway to make it possible for Steam players to join non-steam servers as well.
- Release date: If everything goes according to plan, we can expect a release before the end of the year. It is likely that initially there will be a version in which only skins and non-steam servers will be available.
To reduce the wait, the developers have opened three Counter-Strike 2 servers for Steam players: two public and one de-match server. These servers offer unique maps, detailed statistics and free VIP status for all players.
