“We’ll fix this, right?”: Cyberpunk 2077 glitched in front of the universe’s creator before release, but CDPR promised to fix everything

Warning signs about the game’s quality appeared before the 1.0 release.

The launch build of Cyberpunk 2077 became notorious among players — and even some developers — due to its vast number of bugs and performance problems.

It later emerged that Mike Pondsmith, the creator of the universe, encountered a glitch while trying a pre-release version of Cyberpunk 2077 — CD Projekt RED developers reassured him at the time and promised fixes:

My character climbed into a car and then popped up in a T-pose — without any pants […] I asked the developers, “We’re going to fix this, right?” and they were like, “Yes, we’ll fix it. We’re going to fix it.”

In practice, the Cyberpunk 2077 team was unable to completely eradicate the bug, and regular players still encountered T-poses in the retail version.
