A few cast members have even admitted they don’t yet know the full story or precisely who they’ll be sharing heavy green‑screen scenes with. Rumors now point to a trailer screening ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash, which opens on December 19.

Collider reports multiple insiders who say the first preview will play before the next Avatar movie, and IGN points to a Korean ratings board entry listing an 85‑second Avengers: Doomsday trailer. That placement would be strategically sensible: pairing the preview with one of cinema’s biggest franchises helps reach viewers who may not have seen a new MCU release since Avengers: Endgame, and it arrives roughly a year before Avengers: Doomsday’s December 18, 2026 release.

Doom briefly surfaced in the mid‑credits of Fantastic Four: First Steps, but offered no lines. Details about Downey’s interpretation and how multiversal threads will factor into his casting remain scarce, though early indications suggest Marvel’s heroes will have to unite to prevent him from seizing Franklin Richards’ extraordinary power.
