Valheim leaves Early Access on September 9 with the Deep North update
Valheim will leave Early Access and reach version 1.0 on September 9, 2026. The full release introduces Deep North, the final major region in the game’s world.
Valheim is a survival adventure for one to ten players. It sends groups into a procedurally generated world inspired by Norse mythology, where they build settlements, craft weapons, sail across open seas and face powerful enemies.
Version 1.0 completes the main sequence of biomes. Deep North adds new enemies, resources and challenges in the northern part of the map.
Valheim is available on PC through Steam. The developers will publish the detailed 1.0 patch notes closer to the update.
