Nolan’s The Odyssey Leaks in High Quality 10 Days Before Home Release
The film’s official home release is scheduled for November 17.
A high-quality copy of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has leaked online ahead of schedule. The file is circulating with a BD Remux label, which may indicate that it came from a Blu-ray disc obtained before its official release. The film is not scheduled to arrive on physical media or streaming platforms until November 17.
In this adaptation of Homer’s epic poem, King Odysseus of Ithaca tries to find his way home after the Trojan War. As he and his companions cross stormy seas and encounter mythical monsters, suitors pursue his wife, Penelope, on Ithaca. Matt Damon plays the hero, Anne Hathaway portrays Penelope, and Tom Holland plays their son, Telemachus. The star-studded cast also includes Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron.

The Odyssey opened in theaters on July 17 and grossed about $1.8 billion worldwide. It became the highest-grossing film of Nolan’s career and set a worldwide record among R-rated movies. Critics on Rotten Tomatoes were nearly unanimous in their approval, giving it 94% positive reviews, while the audience score reached 96%. Scores on Metacritic diverged sharply: critics gave it 88 out of 100, compared with a user score of 5.7 out of 10.
