Update: December 17, 2025 – Following a brief appearance on international storefronts earlier today, developer AdHoc Studio has officially confirmed that Dispatch is set to debut on both the Nintendo Switch and its successor, the Switch 2, on January 28.

The announcement, shared via the studio’s social media channels, coincided with the launch of the U.S. eShop page. Prospective players can currently secure a pre-order for $26.99—a 10% markdown from the standard $29.99 price tag. Furthermore, the studio has confirmed a player-friendly upgrade path: anyone who purchases the game for the original Switch will be eligible for a free digital upgrade to the Switch 2 version.

Original Story: Widely regarded as one of this year’s most compelling narrative journeys, Dispatch—a witty, workplace-themed superhero comedy—appears to be making its way to Nintendo’s ecosystem.

Initial sightings on the Australian eShop pointed toward a January 29 launch for both the current Switch and the upcoming Switch 2. The listing also highlighted a “Digital Deluxe” bundle for pre-purchase, alongside the promise of cross-generation entitlement for existing owners. While AdHoc Studio initially remained quiet, the legitimacy of the storefront data suggested an official global rollout was imminent.

Dispatch features a standout performance by Aaron Paul, who voices Robert Robertson—a retired hero who finds himself navigating the mundane bureaucracy of a dispatch center for a squad of rehabilitated supervillains. The title has garnered widespread critical acclaim for its sharp dialogue and unique character dynamics, moving over one million units within its first ten days on the market.

Until now, the eight-episode saga has been exclusive to PlayStation 5 and PC. For those looking to jump in on PC, the game is expected to be featured in the upcoming Steam Winter Sale.
