CI Games plans to repay the loan using revenue generated from sales of Lords of the Fallen II.

It was recently revealed that the creators of Lords of the Fallen II secured additional funding. Polish studio CI Games will use the acquired funds to complete development and cover the project’s marketing campaign.

Erste Bank Polska and Bank Ochrony Środowiska provided CI Games with a syndicated loan totaling €26.8 million. CI Games CEO Marek Tymiński noted that this loan fully finances Lords of the Fallen II without issuing new shares, allowing company shareholders to retain their full stake. According to Tymiński, the banks’ trust confirms the project’s quality and commercial potential. This agreement also allows CI Games to refinance all of its existing bank debt.

The financing matures in August 2027. It is primarily scheduled to be paid off using sales revenue from Lords of the Fallen II.

It was initially assumed that Lords of the Fallen II would launch on PC exclusively through the Epic Games Store. However, CI Games later managed to conclude its agreement with Epic Games ahead of schedule, meaning the game will launch on PC via Steam, where it can be added to wishlists.
