Onimusha: Way of the Sword Denuvo protection cracked after two months
The fight against Denuvo continues.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword was released on PC and consoles in early September. As usual, Capcom used the notorious Denuvo to protect its fresh release.
However, 2 months later, a well-known hacker under the moniker voices38 returned and announced the crack of Denuvo in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. This is not a hypervisor-based bypass, as he practices “old-school hacking.”
Denuvo lawyers went after voices38 this year, but this release alongside the recent crack of two games in the Kimetsu no Demon Slayer franchise makes it clear that he does not plan to halt his activities.
voices38 did not specify which game he plans to crack next.

In Onimusha: Way of the Sword, players are invited to take on the role of a samurai who possesses a mystical artifact—the Oni gauntlet, which grants the power to destroy Genma:
Demonstrate masterful swordplay on a blood-soaked battlefield. Explore Kyoto, the capital of Edo-period Japan, shrouded in eerie clouds of Malevolence. In this dark fantasy story, puzzles, intrigue, and danger wait at every turn. Fight the Genma, monsters from the underworld!
