Ubisoft Confirms Assassin’s Creed Jade is Still in Development
Ubisoft recently spotlighted Assassin’s Creed Jade in its latest financial roadmap, listing the title among several projects currently navigating various stages of development. This official acknowledgment reaffirms that the publisher remains fully committed to the game’s eventual release.
Assassin’s Creed Jade represents the franchise’s ambitious leap into the mobile market, transporting the series’ signature parkour and stealth to Ancient China. The project has undergone several public milestones, including limited beta testing in 2022 and the emergence of early gameplay footage throughout 2023. However, 2024 brought news of internal rescheduling, leading to a postponement of its originally anticipated 2025 launch window.
While a concrete release date remains undisclosed, Ubisoft has not wavered in its ambition to expand this iconic IP to new platforms. Despite the recent delays and periods of radio silence, fans can rest assured that the project is still very much part of the company’s long-term vision for the brand.
