Top‑spec OneXFly Apex handheld with liquid cooling costs about $2,400

One-Netbook hosted a full presentation and has opened pre-orders for the OneXFly Apex, a portable gaming console aimed squarely at enthusiasts.

On October 29, One-Netbook unveiled the new OneXFly Apex via its official channel. The device becomes the flagship of the OneXPlayer lineup and is targeted at users who find conventional handhelds like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally too limiting.

The model is offered in two variants across four configurations. The entry-level SKU is powered by an eight-core AMD Ryzen AI Max 385 paired with Radeon 8050S graphics, while the top-tier option uses the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 featuring 16 Zen 5 cores and Radeon 8060 graphics.

The console sports an 8-inch IPS panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and full sRGB coverage. Depending on the chosen configuration, it can be equipped with up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory and up to 2 TB of SSD storage. The OneXFly Apex is also fitted with an 85 Wh battery and supports an optional external battery of the same capacity, available separately for $60.

The headline feature is a liquid-cooling solution adapted to a handheld form factor for the first time. The system relies on an external module housing a radiator, pump, and reservoir — effectively a compact version of a desktop liquid-loop. With the module attached, the OneXFly Apex can run at up to 120 W, delivering performance on par with gaming laptops. The company states that even without the liquid module, the built-in air-cooling can sustain 80–100 W.
