Fans were expecting a new Half-Life, but what arrived instead was a remastered Lara Croft action title.

On November 18, with no prior announcement, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition launched simultaneously on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

The release includes:

  • The base game with completely revamped graphics
  • All previously released downloadable content (6 Lara outfits, 8 multiplayer maps, and 4 additional characters)
  • A digital copy of the Dark Horse comic Tomb Raider: The Beginning
  • A mini artbook, Tomb Raider: The Art of Survival
  • The “Final Hours of Tomb Raider” video series documenting the game’s development

The game is priced at $19.99, but a 10% discount applies to everyone until November 24 (bringing the price to $17.99). Owners of Tomb Raider I–III Remastered receive an extra 10%, and owners of Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered get an additional 10%. Discounts stack, so total savings can reach up to 30%.
