The development team has ambitious plans for the future of the franchise.
During a recent showcase, the creators of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 unveiled a teaser for a massive new expansion, which is currently slated for a 2026 release.
With the tagline “The Division 2 is heading to Central Park,” it is officially confirmed that the upcoming DLC will bring players back to the iconic streets of New York City.
Year 8 of live service support for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will launch this April with the “Rise Up” season. Agents will need to mobilize and coordinate their efforts to push back against the formidable Black Tusk faction:
The upcoming roadmap also highlights several major additions:
- The introduction of Survivors mode
- The return of Classified Assignments featuring brand-new narrative missions
- Implementation of full cross-platform play
- Significant balance adjustments and dedicated PvP content
- An entirely new Incursion challenge
