Capcom has officially pulled back the curtain on the Year 4 roadmap for Street Fighter 6, and the headliner is none other than Final Fantasy VII’s iconic brawler, Tifa Lockhart. Joining her in this upcoming wave of content are two brand-new combatants, Yasmine and Arjun, alongside a familiar face for long-time players: Bosch from the World Tour mode.
Given her legendary proficiency in martial arts, Tifa is a natural fit for the Street Fighter arena. Both Capcom and Square Enix have hinted that her move set will integrate signature abilities inspired by her Final Fantasy roots. Her inclusion arrives alongside a major milestone for RPG fans: the Summer Game Fest announcement of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the highly anticipated conclusion to the acclaimed remake trilogy.
