“The Odyssey” Grosses One Billion Dollars

Christopher Nolan’s epic feature, The Odyssey, has officially surged past the $1 billion milestone at the global box office.

The Universal Pictures production raked in $429.7 million in North America, complemented by an impressive $570.3 million from international markets. This achievement marks the third time in Nolan’s career that one of his films has surpassed the billion-dollar threshold, joining the ranks of The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

The film is the fifth title to enter the “billion-dollar club” in 2026, following the success of Super Mario: Galactic Movie, Michael, Toy Story 5, and Spider-Man: New Day.

This ambitious adaptation of Homer’s classic poem boasts a star-studded cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, and Zendaya. The film was produced on a budget of $250 million.
