“The Number of the Beast” becomes the most popular detective series of the summer on Ivi
The streaming platform Ivi has officially crowned “The Beast’s Number” as the most-watched detective series of the summer, according to a recent announcement from the service’s press office.
Premiering in early August, the narrative transports viewers back to the 1990s. The plot follows investigator Kirsanov (Dmitry Palamarchuk) as he hunts a serial killer in the Yaroslavl region who marks crime scenes with the infamous “number of the beast.” As the investigation deepens, Kirsanov uncovers chilling links to a string of similar unsolved cases dating back to the 1980s.
Directed by Alexey Bystritsky, known for his work on “Soul Eater” (Dusheguby), “The Beast’s Number” is also scheduled to begin airing on the NTV television channel starting September 7th.
