Test Version of FromSoftware’s Switch 2 Exclusive The Duskbloods Runs on PC via Emulator
Dataminers have begun examining files from The Duskbloods network test after a tech enthusiast hacked the Nintendo Switch 2 and an emulator emerged.
FromSoftware is developing The Duskbloods as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. When its debut trailer was shown, some viewers mistakenly thought its opening footage was from Bloodborne 2. The Duskbloods is a PvPvE game.
The network test took place earlier this summer and required participants to connect to The Duskbloods servers. Once the test ended, the “Closed Network Test” client could no longer be launched. A user known as sikoGD has since introduced a solution called “playDB-CNT.”
sikoGD describes the tool as a way to run The Duskbloods Network Test on Nintendo Switch 2 emulators, with a local “replacement server” handling online functions. The developer said players will be able to play together.
sikoGD published the playDB-CNT materials on GitHub. Users must provide files from the test version of The Duskbloods to run it.

FromSoftware previously announced that The Duskbloods had been delayed and is now expected in 2027. The developers needed more time to refine the game.
