Tempest Rising Expansion The Veti’s Wrath Gets Release Date and New Campaign
Players will be able to try out the new faction for free in multiplayer.
Developer Slipgate Ironworks recently released a new trailer for the upcoming The Veti’s Wrath expansion for Tempest Rising and announced its release date. The game will receive a wealth of new content this month alongside a free update.
In The Veti’s Wrath DLC, the developers are introducing a new 11-mission single-player campaign featuring the Veti. The Veti faction roster includes 9 building types, 7 combat vehicles, 6 infantry unit types, defensive structures, aerial units, 5 special abilities, and one superweapon.
During the campaign, players are invited to lead the strife-torn Veti people:
Turn fallen soldiers into mindless enlightened ones, then sacrifice them right in the middle of battle to fuel machines and empower warriors. Master new infantry types, abilities, and doctrines built around complete dominance over the unworthy.
The developers specified that they will release a free update allowing all owners of the base version of Tempest Rising to play as the Veti faction in multiplayer, including custom games, standard matchmaking, and Skirmish mode.

You can add the Tempest Rising expansion The Veti’s Wrath to your Steam wishlist via the following link. The release is scheduled for September 29 of this year.
