Taking It One Step at a Time

Hello everyone, and happy Friday!
Once again, we spent this week reviewing your feedback and bug reports and sharing them with the development team. After the December update, we may need to pause work on new features for a while and concentrate on fixing bugs and improving the less polished parts of the game.
We are investigating several issues, including the Dedicated trait not functioning correctly, Smart Zoi repeating the same thoughts and behaviors, drag-and-drop functionality, and changes to the appearance of saved characters. Work on drag-and-drop is nearly complete, and we hope to include it in an upcoming update. We cannot yet provide a firm timeline for the other fixes, but we will announce them in the patch notes once they are confirmed.
We have also reviewed your requests for better search, sorting, and filtering of downloaded lots, partial wall and floor painting, curved walls, and improved object placement.
We would also like to clarify our DLC policy. All DLC released during Early Access will be free, and anything you download during that period will remain available to you after the full release. New DLC released after launch may be paid content. Pricing is still under discussion, and we will share more details once a decision has been made.
We are working toward releasing the next update in December. We will share its schedule and contents as soon as they are finalized.
I am sorry that the inZOI team often faces such tight development schedules, sometimes resulting in updates that leave us wishing we could have done more. Time and quality are closely connected, and I sometimes wonder whether a slower update schedule would allow us to deliver a more polished experience.
We are also continuing to improve character animations and NPC autonomy, and we plan to expand career options in the Celebrity Update. Thank you for your suggestions on personality expression, relationships and memories, family interactions, livelier cities, and many other aspects of the game.
We are discussing with the relevant teams whether some quality-of-life features created by modders could be officially added to the game. It has been exciting to see the variety of mods released since the script mod update, and I am grateful to everyone creating them.
There is no confirmed schedule yet for the Classic UI, height adjustment, or the option to enter a city directly when starting a new game. However, we plan to begin work on the direct city-entry option, and Bubbly is currently in development.
We have recorded the questions and requests you sent us and will share more information as our plans take shape.
The weather is already getting cold here in Korea. I walk for about an hour and twenty minutes to work each day, and perhaps because I am getting older, the journey feels a little harder as the temperature drops.
Please take care of yourselves and stay healthy.
