Those Eyes continues to experiment, presenting a new adventure that sits at the crossroads of cultural inquiry and absurdist humor.
Copenhagen-based studio Those Eyes, known for the experimental title Cosmic Top Secret, has unveiled its latest horror project — Real Vampires.
The game turns historical accounts of vampirism into an interactive exploration of death, faith, and transformation. The developers worked with cultural scholars and drew inspiration from Dr. Lukasz Kozak’s anthology With Stake and Spade: Vampiric Diversity in Poland.
Players will investigate age-old legends and switch between vampires and humans to determine who the real monster is. Throughout the experience they will dig graves, dismember bodies, prepare strange dishes, and take part in absurd mini-games. Real Vampires’ visual approach blends 2.5D animation, Slavic aesthetics, and a Monty Python–style grotesque.
Real Vampires is available on Google Play, the App Store, and Steam for PC.
