Starfield Reaches 200 Million Mod Downloads on Nexus Mods

Starfield failed to become a long-lasting hit on the scale of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. However, the Bethesda Game Studios title still has dedicated fans who create various modifications. In September 2026—1,108 days after release—fans reached a new milestone in the project’s history.

Total mod downloads for Starfield recently surpassed the 200 million mark. This makes it the tenth game to cross this download threshold, or the eleventh if the original TES V: Skyrim and Special Edition are counted as separate games.

A user known as Soanfriwack noted that Starfield is “the fifth fastest game to reach [200 million downloads] after Skyrim/Skyrim SE, BG3, Fallout 4, and Cyberpunk. All of these games, with the exception of Cyberpunk, reached the 200 million mark in less than 600 days.”
