Square Enix Showcases the Magic of Octopath Traveler 0 Ahead of Release — Demo Available

At State of Play Japan 2025, Square Enix unveiled a story trailer for Octopath Traveler 0 that highlights the series’ familiar magic.

Octopath Traveler 0 aims to be a full-scale title featuring a rich narrative, stirring music, and the signature gameplay fans expect. Though it draws on the earlier mobile edition, it preserves the franchise’s atmosphere and the details longtime players will recognize.

A demo is available now, offering roughly three hours of play and allowing progress to carry over to the full release.

Octopath Traveler 0 is set to launch on December 4, 2025 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The demo is a good way to prepare for the complete adventure.
