“Spider-Man: No Way Home” Surpasses “Titanic” at the Global Box Office

The superhero blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially ascended to the rank of the fourth highest-grossing film in cinematic history, eclipsing the lifetime global earnings of James Cameron’s Titanic.

Spider-Man has reached a staggering $2.235 billion in total revenue, bolstered by $869 million from the North American market and $1.36 billion from international territories. For comparison, Titanic concluded its historic run with a total of $2.223 billion.

The hierarchy of the all-time box office leaders remains undisturbed: James Cameron’s Avatar holds the top spot ($2.92 billion), followed by Avengers: Endgame ($2.79 billion), with Avatar: The Way of Water ($2.32 billion) rounding out the top three.

Brand New Day chronicles the precarious journey of Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as he navigates life while keeping his identity secret following the events of No Way Home. The film features an ensemble cast including Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo, under the direction of Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).

Additionally, the film premiered in the unofficial Russian distribution circuit last week, where it has already amassed over 980 million rubles.
