Spider-Man 5 Reportedly to Feature Peter Parker and Miles Morales
Following the success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Marvel and Sony are already discussing the future development of the film franchise.
According to insider MyTimeToShineHello, Miles Morales could join Peter Parker in the fifth solo Spider-Man movie, and Tom Holland has already signed a new “major contract” with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.
Marvel and Sony have not yet revealed details about future solo Spider-Man films or confirmed which specific project will feature the debut of Miles. Meanwhile, Kevin Feige previously shared that Marvel plans to introduce a live-action version of the character after the conclusion of the Across the Spider-Verse animated trilogy:
“Yes, we definitely have plans for a live-action version of Miles. I think the destiny of the Spider-Man films leads to adding him after the conclusion of the Spider-Verse series.”
The final installment of the animated trilogy, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, will be released in June 2027. Previously, MyTimeToShineHello claimed that Miles Morales will first appear in Avengers: Secret Wars, which is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027. This release order does not contradict Feige’s statements about the character appearing after the completion of Spider-Verse, but this information remains at the rumor level for now.
