“Space Falls Asleep” Starring Mark Eydelshteyn Released Online

The film Space Sleeps (Kosmos zasypayet) has premiered on Russian streaming platforms. This drama features rising star Mark Eydelshteyn, recently seen in Anora, in the lead role.

The story follows Pasha, a student aspiring to be a rocket engineer, who is compelled to return to his hometown of Shoyna. Situated on the shores of the White Sea, his family home is being slowly engulfed by encroaching sands. Pasha is determined to assist his mother (played by Darya Yekamasova) and brother (Nikita Konkin) while seeking to discover his true calling in life.

The film marks the directorial and screenwriting debut of Anton Mamykin, with distribution handled by the Volga film company.
