A Dark Souls–inspired title recently launched on PC via Steam. This time, developer Rmonak has presented players with a highly unconventional protagonist.
In Tankiro you take on the role of a tank that not only fires its cannon but can also parry enemy attacks:
Take the role of a solitary tank defending Earth from an alien invasion. Rely solely on your cannon for offense and your armor for parrying and blocking. Face a variety of alien bosses on Earth’s surface, then carry the battle onto their ship in space. Defeat them and save the planet!
Early impressions of Tankiro on Steam are positive, though players point out the game is quite short; some have called it “a pleasant evening-long adventure.”
