Recently, Sonic Rumble launched on PC via Steam. The title is free-to-play, with SEGA inviting players to join a “tense Sonic battle royale in Dr. Eggman’s chaotic toy world.”
Early reviews on Steam are “mostly negative.” Players complain about pay-to-win mechanics, and some users report the game simply fails to launch.
By SteamDB ratings, Sonic Rumble is currently the lowest-rated game in the franchise (38.49%). The next lowest is Sonic the Hedgehog 4 – Episode I at 40.86%, followed by Sonic Forces at 58.70%.
