Skyrim and Fallout 4 Mod Creator Interrupts Breaking Benjamin Concert to Protest Harassment

The frontman of the American rock band Breaking Benjamin used a recent concert to push back against online harassment by asking fans to download his video game modification.

An unexpected incident interrupted a recent Breaking Benjamin concert when the frontman stopped the show to address a mod he created.

Benjamin Burnley creates modifications for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4. Not everyone in the gaming community respects his work, however. According to the musician, a fellow modder targeted him with harassment and criticism over his projects:

One modder from the community acted very maliciously, harassing me by making statements like, ‘Oh, your mod is trash. You have no idea what you’re doing.’

Benjamin Burnley responded by urging his audience to download his modification even if they do not play Fallout 4:

I work on this every single night and I am crushing him by a landslide in download counts. Even if you don’t play this game, download it anyway. The mod is on Nexus Mods. Tomorrow I need to see all of my download counters start going up.

The musician goes by the username killemloud within the modding community. He has released ten projects, including True First Person for Fallout 4. This modification displays the character’s entire body during first-person gameplay, allowing players to see their torso, legs, and equipment instead of just floating hands.
