SGF Trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker Teases Modern-Day Elements

The Blood of Dawnwalker, the ambitious title recently showcased as the cover feature of Game Informer, surprised audiences during Summer Game Fest with a fresh trailer that pivots away from its established aesthetic to reveal unexpected, contemporary settings.
While previous reveals anchored the game firmly within a gothic, historical, or alternate-vampire-history timeline, this latest footage offers a jarring contrast. The trailer commences with a courier navigating a sleek, modern-day office building to drop off a parcel, only for the recipient to be revealed as the game’s lead, Coen.
According to the official synopsis, Coen’s journey is far from linear: “Coen’s story will continue—spanning centuries and carrying him to various corners of the world, far beyond Vale Sangora. New adventures, new powers, new dilemmas. And dark, ancient secrets waiting to be uncovered.” This expansive scope signals that the development team at Rebel Wolves, in collaboration with publisher Bandai Namco, has ambitious long-term aspirations for this budding franchise.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is slated for release on September 3, 2026. For a deeper dive into the lore and mechanics of this upcoming title, check out our extended coverage here.
