Minecraft Dungeons II Now Available on Xbox Game Pass

Minecraft Dungeons II was released on September 29, 2026, and is available on day one through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, alongside launches on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

Minecraft Dungeons II builds upon the concepts of the first installment, transporting players to a new dimension named Sift to explore uncharted territories and combat fresh threats. The developers promise challenges designed to test the readiness of even experienced adventurers.

Among the new additions are expanded gear personalization options. Players receive new ways to develop their equipment and prepare their characters for tougher battles. Cooperative play returns as a core component of the experience, allowing friends to embark on another adventure together.

Minecraft Dungeons II is not restricted to Microsoft devices, as the game also launched on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Meanwhile, Xbox owners can start playing on release day without a separate purchase thanks to Game Pass.

For Microsoft subscribers, this serves as another major premiere on the service and marks the beginning of a busy period for new releases.
