Seven New Actors Join the Final Season of “The Witcher” — and Hint at an Iconic Ice-Skating Scene

Although principal photography on The Witcher’s fifth season has concluded, some cast additions are only now coming to light.

The fifth and final season of The Witcher is currently in post-production, and the full cast list has not been officially disclosed. According to a report from Redanian Intelligence, seven more actors have reportedly joined the series.

Several of the new roles tie into Ciri’s storyline. At the end of season four, the heroine is captured by Leo Bonhart, who hands her over to his cousin Dominik Huvenagel — the man in charge of the underground fighting pits. Dominik is believed to be played by Neil Stuke.

Yinka Awoni and Sam Pamphilon are set to portray Klochenya and Cyprian Fripp, respectively — members of Skellen’s unit who will pursue Ciri after her escape.

In addition, Nick Chadwin joins the cast as Gosta, a fisherman from the Lakes. In the books he guides Ciri toward the Swallow Tower, which hints that the fan-favorite ice sequence — where Ciri fights pursuers on skates — may be included. That scene is long-considered iconic by readers, so it’s unsurprising the showrunners would want to adapt it.

Also joining season five are Georgia Goodman as Madame Toluze — reportedly the manager of a brothel in Bokler — Fergus Rattigan as a red dwarf, and Clive Kneller as the high priest.
