Rumored Metroid Ravenous to Support 120Hz and HDR on Switch 2
Metroid Ravenous for Nintendo Switch 2 will feature 120 Hz and HDR support, and the game will release on January 28, 2027.
The information appeared on the game’s Nintendo eShop page. The Switch 2 version will take up about 20.2 GB and will run in both TV and handheld modes.
Support for 120 Hz will require a compatible television or monitor, although it is not yet known at what resolution and graphical mode the game will be able to reach that refresh rate. A framerate-priority mode may be included.
The eShop also lists HDR and amiibo support. Nintendo has not yet revealed the resolution and specific graphical settings. The Switch 2 supports VRR in TV mode, but it is unknown whether Metroid Ravenous will make use of this technology. The game will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
