RUINER 2 Announced: A Sequel to the Brutal Cyberpunk Action Shooter
The sequel will be self-published as the studio moves forward independently of Devolver Digital.
Reikon Games has officially unveiled RUINER 2. While the original cult hit was published by Devolver Digital, the developers are now taking the reins themselves to act as their own publisher for this installment.
This brutal action-shooter returns players to the neon-soaked cyber-metropolis of Rengkok. The developers describe the combat encounters as “high-speed puzzles,” where success depends on the player’s ability to tactically swap weaponry and synergize abilities on the fly to dismantle threats.
A major addition to RUINER 2 is the “Shells” mechanic. This system allows players to command a squad of up to three distinct combat bodies, offering the ability to switch between them instantly to adapt to shifting battlefield conditions.
The game is designed to support both a solo experience and a cooperative mode, allowing up to three players to tear through the city together.
You can now add RUINER 2 to your Steam wishlist here. An official release date has not yet been announced.
