Rockstar Addresses Rumors of Disney World Equivalent in GTA VI
Fans hope that Rockstar will find a place for famous Florida landmarks.
Rockstar has cast doubt on the appearance of a Disney World parody in GTA VI. In an interview with Game Informer, Senior Vice President of Environment Art Aaron MacPherson was asked how the game will represent Orlando with its famous amusement parks and Florida’s Space Coast.
MacPherson explained that the team selects locations based on gameplay and story needs:
“So while we might not have those specific locations, everything we create is aimed at capturing Florida in its entirety.”
Rumors previously circulated online about Fairyland, a rumored Disney World parody. Rockstar has not confirmed its existence. At the same time, MacPherson’s words do not rule out the appearance of a fictional park, as the developer did not state outright that such locations will not be in the game.
GTA VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
