Knives Out creator Rian Johnson is stepping away from the detective franchise to work on a new project. Details about the project remain undisclosed, but Johnson hasn’t ruled out returning to Knives Out — he intends to continue the film series in the future.
Reminder: the third installment, Knives Out: Wake Up, Dead, will be released on Netflix on December 12.
