The notice confirms that disc owners must download the remaining files on launch day before playing.
The shared clip highlights the Xbox Series version of the retail package. It remains unclear whether the PlayStation 5 physical disc will carry the same download requirement.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is available to wishlist on Steam. The game is scheduled to launch on August 27, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The title serves as a prequel set 15 years before the events of A Plague Tale: Requiem. The story follows the young smuggler Sophia as she journeys to the island of the Minotaur.
