The Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4 remakes are now available on Nintendo Switch 2 as digital releases. Owners of the handheld console can replay these landmark entries in the franchise.

The release lets players return to Raccoon City and relive key events from the series on a portable system.

In Resident Evil 2 and 3, Leon Kennedy tries to survive in a city overwhelmed by disaster, while Jill Valentine escapes Nemesis. The fourth game follows Leon’s first mission as a full-fledged US agent.

The release follows the success of Resident Evil Requiem, whose sales have passed 8 million copies. The new versions may also help fill the wait for Requiem’s story expansion, which is rumored to arrive next year, and for Resident Evil Veronica, which is officially scheduled for 2027.
