Final Trailer Released for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity Anime

Only two episodes remain in the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s manga.

The team behind Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity has released a final trailer ahead of the last two episodes. The video recaps the events of the final arc and shows the paths Ichigo Kurosaki and Yhwach took before their decisive battle.

The penultimate episode, episode 49, will air on October 19, and the finale, episode 50, will follow on October 26. Both episodes were originally scheduled for the second half of September. The production committee moved them back by a month so the team could spend more time on animation quality.

Thousand-Year Blood War premiered in 2022 and brought Bleach back to screens after a ten-year break. The fourth part, subtitled The Calamity, completes the adaptation of the final arc of Tite Kubo’s manga. It also adds scenes created specifically for the anime to the story familiar to manga readers.

Studio Pierrot Films handles production. Tomohisa Taguchi serves as chief director, and Hikaru Murata directs the final part.
