Red Dead Redemption 2 Fans Release Unofficial Story DLC
Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting a massive fan-made expansion called Nuevo Paraiso – The Forgotten Frontier, which introduces Mexico, new activities, and the option to play as Sadie Adler, Arthur Morgan, or John Marston.
Because Rockstar Games never released a story DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2, modders took matters into their own hands. Following several years of development, the Nuevo Paraiso – The Forgotten Frontier project will release on September 16, 2026.
The modification adds the southern border and recreates Mexican territories, directly connecting events to the first game in the series. Players can expect Mexican settlements, gang hideouts, bounty hunting, treasure hunting, random encounters, and minigames.
Sadie Adler serves as the main protagonist. Her journey through Mexico on her way to South America fits into the series canon. At the same time, players will also be able to explore the new region as Arthur Morgan or John Marston.
