Warhammer 40,000 Codex: Blood Angels to Release in Spring 2027

Games Workshop has announced that Codex: Blood Angels will arrive in spring 2027. The Warhammer 40,000 team also revealed new artwork from the book and a miniature of Corbulo, the Sanguinary High Priest and guardian of the Red Grail.

The artwork depicts a Blood Angels army in red and gold, with a gothic, imposing appearance.

New miniatures will accompany the book, including the return of Corbulo, also known as Corbulon.

These are just some of the upcoming spring releases for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game, which will also include releases for xenos, Chaos and Imperium armies other than Space Marines.

The December update will also add a datasheet for a Blood Angels Chaplain with a Jump Pack, allowing the Chaplain to use the iconic inferno pistol as an additional weapon. The pistol is well suited to destroying tanks and Terminators before the Chaplain leads a charge into the enemy ranks.
