Xbox PC App Runs 60% Faster After Update
Xbox Insiders can test an updated Xbox app for PC that launches up to 60% faster. Store and Game Pass pages also load up to 50% faster.
The update streamlines navigation and adds new filters to the Library for sorting games. The friends list has moved to the main menu for quicker access to messages, while improved search lets users find games, add-ons, and other users in one place.
Browser-based cloud gaming will also receive updates. A new Library tab on the official Xbox website will bring together all cloud games available to a user, including purchased games and titles included with Xbox Game Pass.
The web version will also gain a Desktop mode designed for larger screens. Microsoft will add light and dark themes, as well as a high-contrast mode.

Microsoft confirmed that the updated interface and faster menus will also come to Xbox Cloud Gaming apps for compatible smart TVs and VR headsets.
