‘Ready or Not’ Sequel Gets Digital Release Date

Searchlight Pictures has announced that the horror-comedy Ready or Not 2 is set to arrive on international digital streaming platforms on May 5th.

The sequel hit theaters in late March, accumulating $38 million at the global box office. Samara Weaving reprises her lead role as Grace, who this time must protect not only herself but also her younger sister, Faith (Kathryn Newton), from a bloodthirsty, ultra-wealthy dynasty.

The star-studded cast also features Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, and David Cronenberg. Directing duties were handled by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the duo behind the original film. Critics have offered a favorable reception to the follow-up, which currently holds a 74% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
