Pokémon Pokopia Player Discovers Trick to Get Missing Event Pokémon

Comment Views: 3

Since Pokémon Pokopia launched in March 2026, it has rolled out a steady stream of limited-time in-game events, and each one has brought new Pokémon to the game. Past examples include the whole Hoppip evolution line, Sableye and Jirachi. Right now, the “Fetching Scales for Feebas” event has made both Feebas and Milotic available.

The catch is that if you couldn’t play while an event was running, or you picked up Pokopia after it ended, there’s no legitimate way to recruit those Pokémon. Some players “time travel” by setting their Nintendo Switch 2 console’s date and time back to the event window. That is technically cheating. It hurts no one, since Pokopia is a single-player game, but it also falls outside the game’s intended mechanics. A Reddit user named ArcadiaCitizen_ has found another way to recruit the Pokémon you missed. All you need is a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Head to any Pokémon Center computer and buy the Mysterious Goggles from the shop. Wearing them lets you visit another player’s dream island. You can’t interact with anything there, but you can photograph whatever they have on display. Enter the code 6DXL PD6F and you’ll be taken to an island built by the developers, which contains every item and Pokémon in Pokopia.

Press the minus button to equip the camera, then press Y to switch it to the mode that highlights individual items. You can capture up to 20 different items at a time. Find the items that make up the habitats for the Pokémon you’re missing, then go back to the 3D printer in any Pokémon Center to obtain them. You can print as many as you want, as long as you have enough Pokémetal (and Rare Pokémetal).

Here’s how it worked for me. I was still early in my Pokopia adventure when the “More Spores for Hoppip” event ran, so I never got Skiploom or Jumpluff. On the developers’ dream island, every item from that event sits right beside the Pokémon Center. I photographed all of them, spent a good amount of Pokémetal, and built the habitats in Palette Town. Both Skiploom and Jumpluff showed up almost immediately.

This technique works for any item or Pokémon you’ve missed. For the other event habitats you may have skipped, take a look at our dedicated event habitat guide.
