New «Avengers: Doomsday» Teaser Features Two Captain Americas and Fantastic Four Baseball Game
Marvel released a new promo for Avengers: Doomsday during the first game of the MLB World Series. Fans had hoped for a full trailer. Instead, the one-minute spot mixes old and new scenes from the film with footage of real baseball players.
The promo opens with the Fantastic Four on their home Earth-828, preparing to throw a ceremonial first pitch. Viewers also see Steve Rogers ask Thor whether it bothers him that Steve can wield Mjolnir too. At Avengers Tower, Scott Lang (Ant-Man) tries to work out who should be called Cap now. Rogers goes by that nickname, and so does Sam Wilson, to whom Steve passed the title of Captain America.
Avengers: Doomsday opens internationally on December 18, 2026.
