PlayStation Store Adds Feature to Simplify Game Purchase Decisions

Sony quietly updated the PlayStation Store, introducing a tweak that helps players decide faster whether a discounted title is worth purchasing.

In recent weeks Sony has stepped up activity: first adding the ability to pair a DualSense controller with multiple devices, then introducing user reviews. Now the store has rolled out another useful option aimed at PS4 and PS5 owners.

The PS Store runs sales frequently, and the same games often reappear in promotions. To help shoppers judge whether a discount is genuinely valuable, Sony added a new indicator — each discounted game now shows its lowest price over the past 30 days.

This feature should curb impulse buys and make it easier to decide whether the current offer is worth taking or if it’s better to wait for the next sale.
