Sony has introduced it’s going to discontinue the PlayStation Now service on PS3, Vita, and quite a few TV fashions.
According to the company, after “thoughtful consideration,” it has determined to shift focus and assets to PS4 and Windows PC to “further develop and improve the user experience on these two devices.”
As of August 15, 2017, PS Now customers will no longer be able to access the service on the next units:
- PlayStation three
- PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV
- All 2013, 2014, 2015 Sony Bravia TV fashions
- All Sony Blu-ray participant fashions
- All Samsung TV fashions
- 2016 fashions of Sony Bravia TVs (on April 1, 2017)
All of PS Now video games saves saved within the cloud are nonetheless accessible on each PS4 and PC.
Sony stated if buyer want to discontinue their subscription, remember to disable auto-renewal within the account settings so the subscription ends by April 1 on the 2016 Sony Bravia TVs, and August 15 for the opposite units.
