Players Broke ARC Raiders’ Tutorial — Method Found to Keep Weapons and Loot
You can outsmart the system and begin with an extra reserve of resources.
Before the full game, ARC Raiders guides players through a tutorial segment. Some enthusiasts have found a loophole there that lets them keep the loot they acquire.
By design, the developers intended the player to experience the extraction‑shooter rule — “die in a raid, lose your loot” — at the end of the tutorial. Under normal circumstances the character is knocked out and NPCs take all the items.
However, Sad-Breath-4868 demonstrated an alternate outcome. The cutscene in which attackers ambush the player and search their body is triggered when attempting to hack a door.
Players discovered that if you drop all your items on the ground before that moment, the NPC raiders ignore them — when the character wakes up after the cutscene they can calmly pick up the loot, since it remains where it was left.
The items obtained during the tutorial aren’t especially valuable, but it still serves as a pleasant bonus for those who managed to outwit the system.
